Holidays to Callao Salvaje and Playa Paraiso

Callao Salvaje and Playa Paraiso are neighbouring resorts approximately half way between Los Gigantes and Playa de las Americas.

Callao Salvaje

The main beach is quite small as much of the resort is built upon craggy headlands looking out over the Atlantic. Perfect sunsets available for those lucky enough to have hotel or apartment rooms with a sea view. There are a few restaurants and bars in the resort but to be fair there's not much to do here. The resort is more suited to those wishing to stay at their villa or apartment complex and soak up the sun / 'chill' by the pool. It's also ideal for those wanting a base from which to explore the western area of Tenerife.

Playa Paraiso (Paradise Beach)

The beach here is hardly what you imagine paradise to be which is perhaps why they built a saltwater lido directly behind it. There's a few restaurants and bars and a couple of shopping areas but the area is fairly low key. Again suited to those primarily staying by the pool at their accommodation. There is a dive centre here for those looking for some scuba.

If you're looking for adventure then Playa de las Americas is just 8km south of both these resorts. The resorts are excellent bases for exploring the island as most of the islands attractions are less than a 45 minute drive away.
